The lack of financial and fiscal convergence of the Republic of Moldova with the European Union (EU) is one of the most stringent issues in the process of European integration. In this context, the EXFIN project addresses the way the fiscal policy mechanisms could foster the financial integration and pursues to develop a scientific toolkit that could support the scientific representatives and policy makers in this process. And most important, it strengthens the professional positions of the Moldovan researchers, and facilitates their career advancement by developing courses and providing a complex training programme on financial integration and fiscal policy.
The scope of the project is to enhance the expertise of scientific representatives from the Republic of Moldova and Romania in financial and fiscal integration, by facilitating the exchange of good practices and scientific knowledge transfer in the field, the specific objectives of the project were structured in specific research objectives and specific training objectives.
